European equity manager Marie-Jeanne Missoffe has left French boutique SPGP, Citywire Global can reveal.
She had been running the firm’s Cap Grande Europe since its launch in May 2007 and was appointed lead manager in April 2009 following the retirement of her formerly Citywire AAA-rated colleague Dominique Delaporte (pictured below on the left with Missoffe on the right).
Both managers had joined the Paris boutique from Natixis Asset Management in 2007.
The fund has now been taken over by Philippe Joly who has been with the firm since 2004.
He currently runs two other products, a global equity fund Selection Action Rendement International and a European equity fund Selection Action Rendement.
Since the Cap Grande Europe’s launch in 2007, the fund had lost 46.8% while its Citywire benchmark, FTSE Europe TR, had dropped 24.7%.
