Fund manager changes: latest moves revealed

Who has decided upon a new career path? Which firm has reshuffled its management team? We reveal the latest fund manager moves.
Schroders
Following the departure of David Scammell, the firm’s former head of UK and European interest rate strategies, at the end of January the majority of his funds have been handed over to Tom Sartain.
He ran a number of UK-domiciled funds, including the Schroder Institutional Sterling Bond and the Schroder All Maturities Index Linked Bond , all of which have been taken over by Sartain.
He has also been appointed the lead manager on the Luxembourg-domiciled Schroder ISF Euro Government Bond fund, while the Schroder ISF Global Inflation Linked Bond fund has been handed over the Bob Jolly and Gareth Isaac following Scammell’s departure.
Sartain has also taken over the Schroder Institutional International Bond fund, previously managed by Bhupinder Bahra and Frederick Bourgoin.
Volksbank Investmentfonds
Bond manager for Austrian group Volskbank, Gueorgui Konstantinov,no longer manages three of the funds he had been running since 2010.
The VB Europa Rent , which focuses on European bonds, the Volksbank GoEast Bond and the Volksbank Interbond funds are now run by Werner Schinnerl.
Threadneedle
Henry Stipp no longer manages the Threadneedle Emerging Market Local Return fund after handing it over to colleague John Peta.
However, the pair now jointly manage the Threadneedle (Lux) Absolute Emerging Market Macro fund after Peta was named co-manager of the strategy in February.
Peta joined Threadneedle in October and run the firm’s EMD division alongside Henry Stipp.
