Matteo Belleri - Schroders Italy
Matteo Belleri joined Schroders Italy in January 2007. He works in the team responsible for fund selection within discretionary portfolios. As a member of the investment committee he is also involved in asset allocation and portfolio construction.
Before joining Schroders, he began his career with Duemme as a junior analyst.
Davide Elli - Aletti Gestielle
Davide Elli is deputy chief investment officer for the multi-manager division of Aletti Gestielle, and manages traditional, Alt Ucits and alternative funds of funds.
Prior to taking up this position he was head of asset allocation and head of research and due diligence at Aletti Gestielle Alternative, a company specialised in alternative investments.
Fabio Bariletti - Kairos Partners
Fabio Bariletti is the general manager of Kairos Group and a partner and chief investment officer of its multi-manager business.
He was formerly with Citco Fund Advisors in New York where he was responsible for evaluating, analysing and monitoring hedge fund managers.
Fabio Catalano - AcomeA
Fabio Catalano is head of AcomeA’s multi-manager desk and is also responsible for fund selection and asset allocation on third party funds, unit-linked funds and the firm’s own funds.
He also manages AcomeA Etf Attivo, a flexible fund that uses ETFs, ETCs and ETNs with a trend follower strategy. Catalano has been with the group since its acquisition in 2010 by Fondiaria Sai, where he had worked since 1998.

He currently manages 10 funds of funds with assets totalling more than €2 billion and previously worked for ING as a fund manager between 2000-2004 .
Giuliano Anselmo - Polaris Investment Italia
Giuliano Anselmo is head of manager selection at Polaris. He joined the firm shortly after it was launched in 2007 before a stint at GEO as an assistant manager selector.
Anselmo began his career as a trader for Gestnord and then became a junior hedge fund manager at Nextra Alternative.
Giuseppe Patara - Credit Suisse
Giuseppe Patara is vice president and a portfolio manager within the Multi Asset Class Solutions (MACS) investment team of Credit Suisse Asset Management.
He joined Credit Suisse in 2005 and has been managing private and institutional portfolios since then, focusing on asset allocation for balanced, risk limit-oriented and total return products. Earlier in his career he also worked within the APAC investment team of Credit Suisse Asset Management in Singapore.
Grazia Orlandini - ANIMA
Grazia Orlandini is chief investment officer hedge & multi-manager at ANIMA, which she originally joined in 1999 (at that time known as Monte Paschi Asset Management).
She is responsible for both the fund of hedge funds business (since the start-up in 2002) and for the fund of Ucits funds, running both multi-asset and absolute return strategies. Mario Bortoli is head of the multi-manager management unit at Fideuram Investimenti in Milan.
Prior to this he was chief investment officer at Eurizon from 2002-2009 and a risk manager at Monte Paschi di Siena from 1999-2001. Before that he was a financial engineer at Dresdner Kleinwort.
Matteo Franchetto - Fondazione Cariverona
Matteo Franchetto is investment manager at Cariverona foundation which he joined in 2011.
Before joining his current group he was a multi-asset manager and fund selector at Santander Private Banking (Italy)> He has also worked as a quantitative total return fund manager and fund selector at Fideuram Asset Management (Ireland) and Euromobiliare Asset Management (Italy).
Nevio Pinna - Amundi
Nevio Pinna is a fund analyst at Amundi and is part of the multi-management team of the Amundi Group. He covers advisory activities for the Italian market and has long experience in traditional and alternative products.
Prior to this role he was a portfolio manager with responsibilities for flexible funds of funds and capital guarantee products, again at Amundi. He started his career as an economist at Nextra Investment Management.
Paolo Guido Biamino, Euromobiliare Asset Management
Paolo Guido Biamino is head of fund selection at Euromobiliare Asset Management.
He is responsible for about €3 billion invested in multi-manager products including institutional mandates, individual accounts and funds of funds. He previously held similar investment roles with Franklin Templeton and Invesco.
Riccardo Foa - Tosetti Value
Riccardo Foa is a partner, executive director and head of research at Tosetti Value. He is also an adviser to private clients and a member of the investment committee in charge of asset allocation and investment vehicle selection for institutional clients.
From 2000-2006 he was a hedge fund analyst for Banca del Ceresio Group in London, Lugano and Milan.
Giovanni Roberto Barbieri - UniCredit
Giovanni Roberto Barbieri is the Italian specialist in the Pan-European fund selection team at UniCredit Private Banking. He has worked for the UniCredit Group since 1990 and moved into fund selection in 2007.
Silvia Tenconi - Eurizon Capital
Silvia Tenconi joined CAAM (now Eurizon Capital) as a senior analyst and portfolio manager in the manager selection department (now hedge funds & manager selection) in 2006.
She started out at Pioneer AM as a portfolio manager and then worked as a quantitative analyst at UniCredit Private Asset Management.
Valentina Madama - Symphonia
Valentina Madama joined Symphonia in 2007 as a fund selector and was subsequently promoted to portfolio manager in the multi-manager division.
Her main research and management focus is on emerging markets equity and total return products. She was previously employed in the wealth management department of Banca Intermobiliare.
Alberto Melzi - Aureo Gestioni
Alberto Melzi is the head of multi-manager and private banking divisions at Aureo Gestioni. He is involved in the management of the funds of funds, discretionary portfolios and in the advisory activity for the retail distribution of third party funds.
