New appointments have been announced at La Compagnie Financière de Rothschild in France as well as at the Rothschild private banking group, while Crédit Agricole launches a Eurozone fund via its LCL platform.

Rothschild Private Banking & Trust has appointed Dominique Maire to manage its emerging markets bond portfolio from October. He is promoted from vice-president and will work alongside Siegbert Böttinger.

Before joining Rothschild, Maire worked in the emerging markets research team for UBS and SG Securities.

The second appointment is at La Compagnie Financière de Rothschild where Axel Weytens has been named the new member of the risk management team where he will be in charge of managing equity risk control. Previously he was a fund selector at HSBC Private Wealth Managers.

Crédit Agricole, meanwhile, has announced the launch of a new fund via its LCL platform which is aimed at investors who want guaranteed returns, zero risk and the chance to invest in the 25 best performing European firms on the market.

The LCL Formule Sécurité comes under two forms, the savings plan and the life insurance plan, both of which have capital guaranteed at the end-date in eight years’ time.
