Spanish group launches debt fund

Fineco, the asset management arm of Spanish bank BBK, has announced the launch of a euro fixed income fund which will aim to invest in both corporate and government bonds.
The Fon Fineco Top Renta Fija fund will invest in investment grade corporate and sovereign debt, focusing mainly on Spain. The average investment period will be three years.
The Spanish firm manages 22 investment funds and 22 Sicavs and was taken over by Bilbao-based bank BBK in April 2009.
