Foreign & Colonial: the bull market has further to run

In a video interview ahead of his first anniversary since taking charge of the £2.5 billion Foreign & Colonial (FRCL ) investment trust, fund manager Paul Niven explains:

  • how he is relying on the trust's diverse holdings to protect investors during this volatile period for stock markets;
  • why defensive 'bond proxy' stocks are struggling ahead of a rise in interest rates;
  • that Europe and Japan stock markets can rise furhter;
  • how the US stock market looks expensive but should avoid a year 2000-style crash.
