ABI assistant director leaves as restructure bites
by Michelle Abrego on Nov 20, 2012 at 08:12
Assistant director Nick Kirwan has left the Association of British Insurers (ABI) as the trade body undergoes a restructure.
Kirwin (pictured) has already left the ABI, which confirmed its restructure was ongoing but declined to comment on which individual staff members and roles would be affected.
An ABI spokeswoman said: 'We are making some changes to our staff structure both to meet budget requirements and to ensure we are well positioned to deliver on our plans for 2013.
As discussions are still ongoing we are unable to comment on the situation regarding individual members of staff.'
Kirwan joined the ABI in 2007, after four years with Scottish Widows as its protection market director. Prior to that, he had been at Abbey Life, Crown Financial and AXA Sun Life.
