AJ Bell adds 1,000 funds to Sipp platform

Sipp provider AJ Bell has added 1,000 to its platform Sipp, ISA and dealing accounts.

The funds expand AJ Bell’s Sippcentre fund range meaning advisers will have access to over 3,000 core funds.

AJ Bell said it had added the funds due to adviser demand as the profession prepares for the retail distribution review (RDR).

Marketing director Billy Mackay (pictured),  said: ‘In adding 1,000 funds to our core range we are providing greater choice at a competitive price.  The addition of many of the index tracking and institutional share class funds satisfies the demand that has been building as firms reshape their investment propositions for a post-RDR world.’

It said the Sippcentre platform now offered more than 3,000 core funds plus another 3,000 funds including UK and overseas shares, gilts, exchnage traded funds and exchange traded commodities.
