Antrams hits recruitment trail to fill newly acquired office
by Jun Merrett on Nov 08, 2012 at 09:20
Brighton-based Antrams Financial Services plans to take on four self-employed advisers to work from its new offices in East Grinstead, Sussex.
Antrams will take over the former Barrett Hussey Financial offices in East Grinstead in December, following its acquisition of the firm’s 2,000-strong client bank and £20 million in assets under advice in January.
Antrams financial planner Lester Killip (pictured) and former Barrett Hussey adviser Trevor Brown will look after the clients gained from the deal. The firm will task the new self-employed advisers with offering services in the area around the town.
Killip said: ‘We will now have an office in East Grinstead, and we are actively looking for advisers to join us there because we have desk space and administration space for advisers who want to work with us under the Antrams banner. We have two offices in Brighton, so getting the new office is a strategic decision.
‘This geographical area offers Antrams lots of opportunities in the local business community and [enables us] to reinforce our strong links to professionals and clients in the City [of London],’ he said.
