Ascentric adds legal services to platform

Wrap Ascentric has struck a deal with legal products provider Lex Futura to offer legal services on the platform.

The platform will offer products including powers of attorney and wills for advisers to access to help protect clients against the consequences of incapacity and intestacy.

Each product is reviewed by a solicitor from a panel of law firms to ensure it is suitable for a client's needs.

Dominic Ventham (pictured), head of marketing at Ascentric, said: 'Our job as a platform is to give our advisers as much support as possible and this latest addition to our services extends that support. The best financial planning can come to nothing if a client’s affairs are not properly protected if they fall ill or pass away.'
