AWD Chase de Vere to rebrand as Swiss parent restructures

National IFA AWD Chase de Vere will change its name in April next year as part of a rebrand by parent company Swiss Life.

The firm will be called Chase de Vere as Swiss Life is scrapping the AWD brand in favour of Swiss Life Select.

Swiss Life is also restructuring AWD in Europe and plans to make cost savings of as much as 160 million Swiss francs with as many as 400 job cuts in Germany and Switzerland.

A spokesman for AWD Chase de Vere said there would be no jobs cuts in the UK and that only impact of the changes was the rebrand. The UK division will now report directly to Swiss Life, having previously reported to AWD Holdings.
