by Dylan Lobo on Sep 29, 2008 at 11:58

Barclays Wealth has bolstered its Edinburgh divisions through the addition of two private bankers.

Chris Cowan has joined the arm after a 17-year spell at Adam Bank where he rose through the ranks of head a team of nine people in the role of senior banker.

At Barclays Wealth he will play an instrumental role in helping the firm with its planned roll-out of the firm's banking proposition later this year.

Meanwhile, Dominic Hunter has transferred from the firm's London office to Edinburgh.

Hunter, who joined Barclays Wealth after five years at Merrill Lynch, has 15 years' investment banking experience.

Cowan and Hunter join the team headed by Mark Little and Douglas Noble, which has recently hired James Osborne and Cherie Hamoudi from Turcan Cornell alongside and four financial planners.
