Beacon grows with apprentice and paraplanner hires
by Rachael Revesz on Nov 09, 2012 at 13:28
Cambridgeshire-based Beacon Wealth Management has hired an apprentice and a paraplanner.
The firm has taken on 18-year-old Luke Messenger (pictured left) as an apprentice, having been encouraged by the progress recent graduate recruits had made.
The firm also hired a third paraplanner, Paul Grist (right), to support advisers with research.
Messenger said the role allowed him to earn money and continue his studies.
‘Working at Beacon enables me to learn the basics of the company, and gets me ready to progress further into whichever field I choose at a later date,’ he said.
Grist said he already felt part of the team at Beacon. ‘There is always a lot to learn when you join any company, but there is a very supportive team here, and I like how they truly put their clients first,’ he said.
