Caerus appoints ex-Honister director as chief operating officer

Restricted advice group Caerus Capital has appointed former Honister Capital director Lynn Smith as chief operating officer.

Smith's role will cover IT, operations and infrastructure.

Prior to joining Caerus she was client and employee services director at Honister.

She began her financial services career at Allied Dunbar.

Keith Carby, Caerus chief executive, said: 'Caerus has achieved much to date, but only because of the quality of our people. Attracting Lynn is a major step forward for us and demonstrates our commitment to having the best possible support for our firms and advisers.

'Lynn’s experience will prove invaluable in the next phase of our development.'
