Capita employee in fatal fall at AXA office
by Iain Martin on Sep 03, 2010 at 11:43
A Capita employee has died after falling three floors inside one of AXA’s offices in Bristol.
The AXA Centre in Stoke Gifford just outside Bristol was evacuated following the incident which resulted in the death of the man at around 1.30pm, according to the Bristol Evening Post.
The man has not yet been identified by police and it unclear how he fell from an internal balcony on the third floor of the office block into its central atrium. AXA has an outsourcing arrangement with Capita which processes life insurance and pensions policies.
‘We are aware of a serious incident at our Bristol operations today which resulted in the fatality of a member of Capita staff. We wish to express the deepest sympathy to his family and colleagues,’ said a spokeswoman for Capita.

What a dreadful thing to happen. Thoughts are naturally with the family of this poor person.

Have some respect at a time like this - my God have we really gone so far away from having any compassion at all?
From the previous comment it would appear we have..........

Somehow I doubt that Capita employees go around throwing their customers off balconies. So the 'live by the sword' nonsense is exactly that - nonsense. And heartless drivel too.
