Charles Stanley platform ties up with All My Plans
by Jun Merrett on Jan 30, 2012 at 08:04
Charles Stanley has teamed up with financial product aggregator All My Plans to launch a direct-to-consumer platform, targeting clients who have a weak relationship with their financial adviser.
The partnership with All My Plans means Charles Stanley platform clients will be able to access all their financial plans and products, including their mortgage, insurance policies and bank accounts, in one place online.
In March 2011 New Model Adviser® reported that Charles Stanley was moving beyond its high-net-worth client base to target mass affluent clients with the launch of a direct-to-consumer business after the group poached former Chartwell director Rob Hudson (pictured) to spearhead the new business.
The platform, which is due to launch this summer, will also target consumers who cannot afford the cost of a financial adviser.
Hudson, head of Charles Stanley Direct, said: ‘There is a whole market of people who don’t have a strong relationship with their existing financial adviser and this platform with All My Plans’ technology will provide a better alternative for those clients.
‘It is a genuine ongoing service that can give them up-to-date valuations that advisers cannot.’
