Cross joins Helm Godfrey as head of operations

Helm Godfrey has announced the appointment of Graham Cross as head of operations.
In the role, Cross will work closely with managing director Bruce Wilson (pictured) and the other members of the senior management team to maximise the operational effectiveness of the business.
He will have a wide range of responsibilities that include overseeing company-wide systems and processes as well as staff training and development.
Cross has run a small businesses for nearly 30 years and has extensive knowledge and experience of management, accounts, compliance and administration. He also has many years experience in the financial services industry where, in addition to managing an IFA firm, he was involved in developing computer-based training software.
Commenting on the appointment, Wilson said: 'I am delighted that Graham has decided to join Helm Godfrey. He brings a tremendous amount of knowledge, skill and experience to the team and I am sure will have a positive and immediate impact on the future success of the business.'
Cross said he was delighted to be joining the team. 'Key to the success of the business over the years has been its desire and ability to invest properly in its people, processes and systems, something I will be working hard to ensure continues,' he said.
