Cru cuts sales and marketing team
by Daniel Grote on Mar 23, 2009 at 16:07
Cru has made the whole of its sales and marketing team redundant in the wake of the suspension of its fund range.
Three salespeople, three sales support staff, one events management position and one marketing position have gone in the cuts, made on 20 March.
‘Following the suspension of the fund range, we can confirm that eight sales and marketing people have been made redundant,’ said a Cru spokesman.
‘However, the management team remains firmly in place to ensure that we are in a strong position to co-ordinate feedback from the IFA support base and their clients through our proposed Investor Committee which we are expecting to be in place and active by the end of this month.'
‘We also have a duty to keep IFAs informed with developments as they arise, and maintain a working relationship with all of our other partners. Cru is committed to ensuring investor expectations are protected,' he added.
