Cru investor meeting provides some answers

The Cru investor meeting gave a tantalising clue as to what may have caused the liquidity problems, as it was revealed that investors transferred £25 million from other funds, largely the Investment Portfolio fund into the finance fund during the latter's promotional period late last year.

Adviser reaction to the meeting was mixed but largely positive, with some advisers saying they felt their concerns were at last being met with a response.
