European Wealth hires ex-Barclays portfolio manager

Listed advice and discretionary firm European Wealth Management has expanded its investment management team with the hire of Jeff Hodgetts from Barclays Wealth & Investment Management.

The wealth management firm is a subsidiary of European Wealth Group, which was listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) following a reverse acquisition in May.

Hodgetts, a former private banker for Barclays, will work with Martin O’Grady who joined European Wealth Management from Barclays Private Bank last year.
