by Michelle Abrego on Feb 04, 2013 at 12:18
Former Cofunds sales and marketing director Alastair Conway has joined Sipp and platform provider James Hay Partnership as chief executive.
Conway (pictured) is set to take up the position on 4 March, subject to Financial Services Authority approval.
Tim Sargisson, managing director of James Hay has been appointed to a newly created role within parent company IFG.
He will be chief executive of IFG Financial Services Division.
Conway’s exit from Cofunds was announced in January after five years at the platform provider. Prior to Cofunds he has been a proposition development consultant at Zurich International and before that head of proposition and commercial development for network Sesame.
Mark Bourke, chief executive of IFG Group said: ‘Taking over at James Hay will be Alastair Conway. He comes to us with an excellent track record and we look forward to the next stage of the James Hay's development under Alastair’s management.’
He added Sargisson's new role would see him managing a number of adviser businesses with a brief to maximise the growth and revenue opportunities in the retail distribution review world.
