Former Saunderson House chief executive Nick Fletcher has teamed with ex-Kleiwnwort Benson chief investment officer Jeremy Beckwith to launch advice firm London Wall Partners.
The firm has achieved Financial Services Authority (FSA) authorisation, and recruited an investment and back office team in the run-up to launch.
Mark Johnston, formerly a director in KPMG’s financial services practice, has joined as chief financial officer, while serving on the firm’s investment committee will be independent consultants Ingrid Kirby, a trustee at Hermes Pension Fund Managers, and former Saltus Partners fund manager Dan Kemp.
The firm’s advisory board will include Iain Brown, former FSA company secretary and Mark Bogard, former chief executive of IFG UK, owner of Sipp provider James Hay and advice firm Saunderson House.
Fletcher (pictured) said: ‘After two decades of providing financial planning and investment advice, I have decided to take my vision to the next level. London Wall Partners offers a single destination for highly tailored and personal independent financial advice.
Fletcher spent eight years as Saunderson House chief executive, quitting the firm a year ago. Co-founder Beckwith was responsible for around £5 billion of assets at Kleinwort Benson before leaving the firm in 2011.
