F&C hires A-rated Fox to lead multi-asset as Kinsey-Quick exits

F&C Investments has poached A-rated manager Ben Fox to head up its multi-alternative asset business.
Fox joins from the firm he founded, Goodhart Partners, to replace current boss Ken Kinsey-Quick, who is set to leave at the end of March. Alex Jones, a portfolio analyst at Goodhart, will also transfer to the F&C multi-alternative team.
Fox will co-head the team with Kinsey-Quick's departure until the latter's departure.
As part of the arrangement Fox will bring across his top performing Goodhart Partners Horizon Target Return fund.
The fund has made 10.3% over the last three years compared the 2.43% return in its Libor GBP 3 Month benchmark, and is ranked fourth out of 15 in the funds of funds sector.
