Born in 1971, Adrian Bignell has a degree in French from St Andrews University in Scotland. With 12 years of fund management experience, he started his management career aged 23 at Cazenove where he became a director at the company and vice-head of their European equities team. Bignell subsequently joined Invesco Perpetual in 2003 as a fund manager in the European equities team, and is currently responsible for the management of a number of European small cap funds. He is also an active member of the Securities Institute. Bignell's interests outside of fund management include walking and playing golf.


The fund aims to achieve capital growth through a portfolio of investments primarily in European companies excluding the United Kingdom. In pursuing this objective, the fund managers may include investments that they consider appropriate which include transferable securities, money market instruments, warrants, collective investment schemes, deposits and other permitted investments and transactions.
