Christopher White describes his approach to managing assets as simply ‘pragmatic’. Born in Birmingham in 1965, White graduated in economics from Swansea University. He was at Legg Mason prior to joining Threadneedle and subsequently joined Premier Asset Management in 2010. He has been a fund manager for over 11 years, and most admires Fidelity's star manager Anthony Bolton.

Objective

To provide a reasonable level of income payable in monthly instalments with the prospect of rising income and capital growth. The Fund’s investment policy is to invest primarily in UK listed companies, but it may also invest in companies overseas, in companies quoted on the Alternative Investment Market and in higher yielding equities, convertibles, preference shares and fixed interest stocks.
