Jones Sheridan’s Jackson gives firm a boost with PFS fellowship
by Jun Merrett on Feb 12, 2013 at 16:07
Crewe-based adviser Rob Jackson (pictured) has achieved fellowship of the Personal Finance Society after five years of gruelling study.
Jackson is a pensions, investments and inheritance tax specialist at Jones Sheridan Financial Consulting. He said the qualification would help with professional connections.
‘I decided to take this on to increase my knowledge and professionalism, and it is recognised by many professional connections,’ he said.
Jones Sheridan managing director David Williams said the retail distribution review was increasing the demand on advisers to attain higher qualifications. ‘This will only seek to reinforce the importance of qualifications, such as fellowship status,’ he said.
