Lighthouse picks Zurich as preferred platform
by Jun Merrett on Jul 10, 2013 at 07:17
National advice group Lighthouse Financial Advice has chosen Zurich as its preferred platform.
As part of the deal, Lighthouse and Zurich have worked with technology provider Intelliflo to integrate with its back office systems.
Malcolm Streatfield (pictured), Lighthouse chief executive, said: 'We feel Zurich has a strong foundation for future growth and their commitment to the intermediated advice market speaks for itself.
'The Zurich platform is an intuitive system. Its ability to communicate with our Intelliflo and Distribution Technology back office systems is crucial to our advice model. Combine this with what we believe is a very user-friendly front ended system for advisers and clients alike and the Zurich platform meets all our requirements.'
Richard Howells, UK intermediary sales director at Zurich, added: 'We are delighted at being chosen as a Lighthouse integrated platform provider and our focus now is to ensure advisers are given continued support. This includes listening to feedback and building this into our solutions for them.'
'The pressure to demonstrate true value to clients has never been stronger and having the right technology to deliver this is crucial. Zurich is well placed to provide strength and support to advisers with a commitment to ongoing investment – helping them to succeed in this new, post retail distribution review world.'
Zurich is also the preferred platform of support services provider SimplyBiz and network Openwork.
