Lighthouse ties up with Aviva for exclusive protection offering
by Michelle Abrego on May 20, 2013 at 13:39
Lighthouse has struck a three year deal to exclusively offer Aviva protection products.
Lighthouse Financial Advice, the group’s national advice arm, has struck a three-year exclusive deal with Aviva, which will provide life protection products for the firm.
The deal means Lighthouse’s 220 advisers will offer Aviva’s core protection products including life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection.
Malcolm Streatfield (pictured), chief executive of Lighthouse Group, said the deal would improve the firm’s protection offering.
He said Lighthouse was looking to more than double its adviser numbers from 220 to 500 over the next three years.
Louise Colley, Aviva protection distribution director, said: ‘Both businesses have a mutual desire to ensure more families than ever before have protection in place.
‘Malcolm and his team truly value the importance of protection and with the Aviva brand, marketing collateral and adviser support, together we will make a real difference.’
