About James Inglis-Jones

James Inglis-Jones was born in London in 1968. He graduated from York University with a degree in modern history and gained a D.Phil in modern history from Christ Church College, Oxford. James started his career in 1997 at Fleming Investment Management where he started out as an investment analyst, and later managed UK and European funds becoming a senior European equity portfolio manager. In 2003 he joined Polar Capital where he managed a hedge fund, and in 2006 he joined Liontrust Asset Management to develop an investment process for European equity portfolios. James has over 22 years' experience of managing funds. Outside of fund management his interests include fishing and waterskiing.
