About Jeremy Whitley
Born in the English town of Shrewsbury in 1964, Jeremy Whitley studied at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. He graduated with a degree in English and art history and, in 1988, he joined SG Warburg as a graduate trainee, then moving to Mercury Asset Management as an assistant investment manager. He spent three years at Guaranty Trust Bank, before moving to Edinburgh Fund Managers to head up the Asia Pacific equities desk. He was head of pan European equities at Aberdeen from 2003 before leaving in 2017. Outside of fund management, Jeremy has a wide-range of interests including shooting, tennis, skiing, chess, and frequenting the cinema and theatre.
