About Martin Cholwill

Martin Cholwill took a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Durham University before beginning his career as an actuarial trainee with AXA (then called Equity & Law) in 1981. Cholwill spent the next 24 years with AXA Investment Managers and its predecessor companies, before joining RLAM in 2005 to manage the Royal London Equity Income Trust. His stock picking approach focuses on UK companies which are able to produce significant free cashflow and generate sustainable dividend growth for investors. Bristol-born Cholwill makes the most of his time away from the office. When not being kept busy by his teenage daughters, he enjoys the pleasures of travel, wine, walking and gardening.
