About Peter Walls

Peter Walls took his in-depth knowledge of the collective funds industry to Unicorn Asset Management upon his appointment as Managing Director in July 2001. Walls started out at Datastream International in 1977, moving on to Hoare Govett (now ABN AMRO) five years later. Having established himself as a leading investment trust analyst Walls made the switch to Credit Lyonnais Securities in 1988, where he enjoyed a 13-year stint before joining Unicorn. In his present role he takes charge of the Unicorn Mastertrust where he has proved himself to be a highly successful long-term fund picker who is similarly adept at exploiting often short term discount opportunities in the investment trust arena. Walls was born in London in 1957 and attended St. Edwards Comprehensive School in Romford, Essex.
