Milestone forms joint venture with local accountants

Surrey-based Milestone Wealth Management has launched a joint venture with local accountants David Howard.
As part of new company David Howard Financial Planning, Milestone director Neil Mumford (pictured) will offer financial planning, corporate benefit and key employee advice to clients of the accountancy firm, which has offices in Kingston upon Thames and Weybridge.
‘I have been dealing with the main partner for three or four years, and dealing with his father for 15 years,’ said Mumford.
‘He knew that clients needed financial planning advice, so [he] started introducing clients to me. We also refer clients onto [David Howard] but it is not designed on that basis.
‘Previously when [David Howard] referred clients to me, it was referring them out of the business. So we felt there was more of a synergy if we had its name added to the company,’ he said.
