New Adviser offers on-site help for move to fees
by Edward Lander on Feb 26, 2009 at 09:58
Consultancy firm New Adviser Limited has launched a tailored service to help advisers make the shift from commission to recurring income.
The Consultancy Plus service will adapt the Masterclass programme for individual firms and provide on-site consultancy visits and mentoring sessions on top of access to the Masterclass toolbox.
The mentoring programme is designed to give advisers regular access to an experienced mentor or ‘coach’ who will help them to set and review objectives regularly.
‘Where we can really add value is through the knowledge we have and our experience but also that of the other coaches, all of whom are practising IFAs who have successfully made the transformation to a new model,’ said Nick Peters (pictured), director and head coach at Consultancy Plus.
Advisers who are already fee based could also benefit from a second opinion on their business, he added.
New Adviser Ltd has created a database of adviser service providers, many of which will offer discounts to its customers. It has also introduced a money-back guarantee for advisers taking the Masterclass programme if they cannot raise their recurring income levels by more than twice the amount of the course fees.
