The investment director of Aberdeen Standard Investments sales team has left the asset manager.
Andrew Dickson, who is a veteran of Standard Life, left his position of investment director of Aberdeen Standard Investments’ institutional sales team last month. Aberdeen Standard Investments is the fund management division of Standard Life Aberdeen.
A spokeswoman for the firm said: ‘We can confirm that Dickson, investment director in the institutional sales team, has resigned from the company. We would like to thank Andrew for his contribution to the business and wish him every success in the future.’
The spokeswoman said Dickson’s departure was not connected to the sale of Standard Life’s insurance business to Phoenix earlier this year.
Dickson has been at Standard Life since 1992 according to his LinkedIn and was a senior business development manager until 2010 when he took over the institutional sales team.
At Aberdeen Standard Investments he was responsible for securing investment mandates from defined contribution and defined benefit schemes.
