Ascot doubles in size as it takes on grads

Berkshire-based Ascot Wealth Management is set to double the size of its workforce as the first wave of recruits graduates from the firm’s training scheme.

Sixteen new recruits will join the firm in June bulking up staff numbers to 32, four of whom had previously done work placements with Ascot while at university.

‘A lot of the new recruits are starting due to our training academy,’ said Mark Insley (pictured), managing director of Ascot Wealth. ‘Since the start we have taken placement students at university, and four out of the five placements we had last year are coming back to us as graduates.’

Insley said the fast expansion reflected the pace at which the business, which started up in 2010, was moving.
