Barclays head of UK wealth management to exit

Barclay's head of UK and European wealth management Henry Fischel-Bock is to leave the bank.

Fischel-Bock is understood to have lined up another role. His career in wealth management spans over 30 years, having joined Barclays in 2010 from Miami-based International Planning Group.

A spokeswoman at Barclays Wealth & Investment Management said: 'We are actively recruiting for a successor to Henry and have appointed an experienced management team to lead the business in the interim.'

His departure follows Barclays Wealth & Investment Management chief Peter Horrell's decision to step down from the at the end of the year.
