Former Saunderson House chief executive Nick Fletcher has brought David Lovell, director of the IFA firm, over to his new venture London Wall Partners.
David Lovell (pictured) has been a Saunderson House director for 22 years, and has joined as a partner of the new business. Fletcher partnered with Kleinwort Benson chief investment officer Jeremy Beckwith and KPMG director Mark Johnston to form London Wall Partners in December.
Fletcher said: ‘Having worked with David over a period of 18 years, I am honoured that he has placed his faith in me, and that he has decided to join Jeremy, Mark and I, and the rest of the team, in this exciting new venture,’ he said.
Lovell said he was attracted by the owner-managed partnership structure of the business. 'It is the structure adopted by a number of well-established and highly regarded legal and accountancy firms, and a structure which means we will not be distracted or influenced by short-term shareholder pressures,' he said. 'It enables us to put our clients’ interests first, at all times – and that is our core long-term focus.'
