London-based Plutus Wealth Management has hired highly qualified adviser Sebastian Hurst, who contacted the firm after reading about it in New Model Adviser®.
Previously at Atlantic Swiss, Hurst has a long-term care planning qualification (CF8) from the Chartered Insurance Institute, and holds certificates in discretionary investment management. He hopes to become chartered in June.
‘Chartered status goes a long way in this business, so it’s a real privilege to work with people who are highly regarded,’ said Hurst, who brought 20 clients with him.
Plutus partner Georgina Partridge (pictured) said Hurst’s arrival was very convenient for the firm, which lost an adviser last year.
‘We’re delighted to have Sebastian. It’s good timing for us as James Robson left the firm last year,’ she said.
‘We’d like to recruit another two advisers this year and are looking for people with Sebastian’s emphasis on professionalism.’
