Paradigm's Jargon Free Benefits signs up English Mutual

Paradigm's corporate compliance offering Jargon Free Benefits has signed up English Mutual as a licensee firm.

English Mutual will pay a monthly fee to install the Jargon Free Benefits system so its advisers can have access to its employee benefits range and deal with auto-enrolment.

In August English Mutual, which has around 43 advisers and £400 million in assets under advice, was acquired by Sanlam UK.

Elliot Silk, head of employee benefits at English Mutual said n advantage of Jargon Free Benefits system was it was independent of pension providers.

'English Mutual sees this as a great way to generate recurring revenue in what is a changing world from both a retail distribution review (RDR) and pensions reform point of view whilst offering an enhanced service to our clients.'

Jargon Free Benefits and Paradigm Pensions founder Steve Bee (pictured), said: 'As a forward-thinking firm of advisers, they fully understand and appreciate the opportunity that is presenting itself in the employee pensions and benefits space and are determined to capitalise in it.'
