Outsourced paraplanner John Delaney has struck a deal with advice network Tenet Group that will see it offer discounted rates.
Delaney’s firm, Paraplanning Online, will offer a discount to Tenet advisers for its Suitability Report Builder solution.
The software uses a series of questions to guide advisers through a compliant reporting process. Although it offers default options, advisers can tailor the reports to reflect their own requirements and house style. It includes an investment proposition option that helps fulfil the regulator’s requirements for centralised investment propositions.
Delaney (pictured) said: ‘Business has been good for us this year. We were worried about a 10% drop because of advisers leaving the industry post-retail distribution review, but in fact it has been up 10% to 20%.’
Delaney bought out business partner Edward Evans in 2012 and plans to expand services beyond report writing. He took on technical manager David Edwards and head of IT Michael Prior last year.
