London-based Plutus Wealth Management has added to its ranks with the hire of a new chartered financial planner and is now looking for paraplanners to support its growing team.
Mark Coomber joins the firm from London-based advice, accounting and wealth management firm Acuity Professional, formerly FPSS, having spent over 25 years in financial services.
Coomber began his career in the City with Coutts & Co. 1988, before making the transition to independent financial advice in 2009 with Barton Lyle Wealth.
He has historically specialised in helping those who are 10 years or less from their intended retirement date or planned sale of their business, along with inter-generational estate planning for families.
Plutus partner Georgina Partridge (pictured) said: 'Mark has a similar outlook and ethos to us in terms of how he deals with clients. We were introduced by a mutual contact and he really impressed us.'
Partridge added the firm was also searching for a paraplanner to help support its growing roster of IFAs.
'We are always looking for advisers, but in particular, we are on the lookout for a paraplanner at the moment as we continue to grow. We are a young, vibrant team and I would encourage any ambitious paraplanners to get in touch.'
