The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has released its roundup of complaints data across the finance sector in the second half of 2017. Here are the highlights from the life and pensions, platforms and insurance sectors.

Alliance Trust Savings (ATS)

Per 1,000 policies in force, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) said that ATS had received 26.4 complaints about its decumulation and pensions offerings. 

Meanwhile, ATS received 14.1 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

Aviva

Per 1,000 policies in force, the FCA said that Aviva had received 0.74 complaints about its decumulation and pensions offerings.

Meanwhile, Aviva received 1.6 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

Canada Life

Per 1,000 decumulation and pension policies in force, the FCA said that Canada Life had received 0.58 complaints.

Meanwhile, the company received 3.24 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

Cofunds

Per 1,000 decumulation and pension policies in force, the FCA said that the Aegon-owned platform had received 0.78 complaints.

Meanwhile, Cofunds received 0.26 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

Hargreaves Lansdown

Per 1,000 decumulation and pension policies in force, the FCA said that Hargreaves Lansdown - the discount broker, platform and pension provider - had received 0.46 complaints.

Meanwhile, per 1,000 investment policies in force, the Bristol-based business received 0.93 complaints. 

Legal & General (L&G)

Per 1,000 pension and decumulation policies in force, the FCA said that L&G had received 0.47 complaints.

Meanwhile, L&G received 1.99  complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

LV=

Per 1,000 pension and decumulation policies in force, the FCA said that LV= had received 0.85 complaints.

Meanwhile, LV= received 1.22 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

Lloyds Bank PLC

Per 1,000 pension and decumulation policies in force, the FCA said that Lloyds Bank had received 0.52 complaints.

Meanwhile, Lloyds received 3.25 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

Old Mutual Wealth (Life and Pensions)

Per 1,000 pension and decumulation policies in force, the FCA said that Old Mutual Wealth (Life and Pensions) had received 2.87 complaints.

Meanwhile, the business received 1.31 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

Old Mutual Wealth (Life Assurance)

Per 1,000 policies in force, the FCA said that Old Mutual Wealth (Life Assurance) had received 2.05 complaints about its decumulation and pensions offerings.

Meanwhile, the business received 2.52 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

Prudential

Per 1,000 pension and decumulation policies in force, the FCA said that Prudential had received 2.11 complaints.

Meanwhile, Prudential received 4.01 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

Royal London

Per 1,000 pension and decumulation policies in force, the FCA said that Royal London had received 1.03 complaints.

Meanwhile, Royal London received 0.98 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

St James's Place (SJP)

Per 1,000 pension and decumulation policies in force, the FCA said that SJP had received 2.23 complaints.

Meanwhile, SJP received 0.84 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

 

Standard Life Assurance

Per 1,000 policies in force, the FCA said that Standard Life Assurance had received 0.31 complaints about its decumulation and pensions offerings.

Meanwhile, Standard Life Assurance received 0.93 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

Standard Life Client Management

Per 1,000 pension and decumulation policies in force, the FCA said that Standard Life Client Management had received 0.18 complaints.

Meanwhile, Standard Life Client Management received 0.1 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

Sun Life

Per 1,000 policies in force, the FCA said that Sun Life had received 0.66 complaints about its decumulation and pensions offerings.

Meanwhile on investments, Sun Life received 17.03 complaints per 1,000 policies in force.

Zurich

Per 1,000 decumulation and pension policies in force, the FCA said that Zurich had received 1.76 complaints.

Meanwhile, Zurich received 5.49 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

 

Scottish Widows Assurance

Per 1,000 pension and decumulation policies in force, the FCA said that Scottish Widows Assurance had received 2.41 complaints.

Meanwhile, Scottish Widows Assurance received 1.08 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.

Scottish Widows Ltd

Per 1,000 pension and decumulation policies in force, the FCA said that Scottish Widows Ltd received 0.67 complaints.

Meanwhile, Scottish Widows received 5.18 complaints per 1,000 investment policies in force.
