The SimplyBiz Group has added a fifth partner to its defined benefit (DB) pension transfer referral panel.
Stockton-on-Tees based Broadgate Financial Management joins Tuto, Grove Pension Solutions, Pensionhelp and Creative Wealth Management as a member of the SimplyBiz DB transfer bureau.
The group offers advisers outsourcing options should they be unable or unwilling to advise on DB transfers in-house.
Croydon-based Creative Wealth became the first member of the panel in July 2017, after previous transfer partner Selectapension suspended its services.
SimplyBiz compliance director Gary Kershaw said: 'Like most of our DB partners, Broadgate itself is an advice firm and therefore understands perfectly the relationship of trust between client and adviser and the absolute importance of delivering the right advice for that individual, based on their specific circumstances.
'For as long as there is demand for support on DB pension transfers from the firms who use our services, we will continue to develop the bureau and provide them with options and choice.'
Caroline Singleton, occupational pension specialist and compliance manager at Broadgate Financial Management, said: 'The defined benefit market is one in which we have a great deal of experience and expertise and I know our services could be really beneficial to advisers.'
