No future in advice? IFA named fourth fastest growing firm in UK
by Alex Steger on Dec 03, 2012 at 08:06
London-based advice firm AES International has been ranked fourth in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list of fastest growing private companies in the UK.
Former New Model Adviser® cover star Sam Instone’s firm gained the top four spot based on increased sales of 187.5% over its last financial year.
AES, which was the only financial advice firm on the list, was founded in 2007 by former soldier Instone (pictured). Alongside advising UK clients it specialises in advising investors moving between Britain and mainland Europe.
Instone told New Model Adviser®: 'There are two things driving growth. Our mission statement is positive change, it is a very clear message about how we work and a lot of people want to join our firm as a result. We operate in Europe and the Middle East and a lot of UK advisers are joining us because we have a strong reputation.'
Instone said he had taken on high-calibre recruits, some with chartered status and some from private banks, to join his overseas offices.

Strange that this would be on New Model Advisor, when AES has moved into the International arena to be able to take advantage of the 'old model'.
