Resolution appoints Malcolm Williamson as chairman
by Daniel Grote on Jan 21, 2013 at 07:59
Life company consolidator Resolution has announced Malcolm Williamson will replace Mike Briggs as chairman of the group.
Williamson is expected to join the Resolution board when it merges with the Friends Life board in March as part of a restructure of the group.
Biggs will remain as chairman for an interim transition period before handing over to Williamson.
Biggs said: ‘Sir Malcolm’s experience as a chairman, as well as his understanding of the group’s operations, its people and its regulatory and governance framework, will equip him well to lead the company in the future.’
