Tina Weeks find Serenity with new business name

Tina Weeks is rebranding her Barnet-based business to reflect its focus on life planning.

Serenity Financial Planning, the new name for Weeks’ firm, is a better fit for the business’s proposition, which is now focused on holistic advice, said Weeks. The old Financial Weeks moniker will remain as the name of a new adviser consultancy, she said.

Weeks said she wants to make the newly branded website, www.serenityfp.com, engaging for potential clients with a blog, guides and case studies. ‘We want a brand more appropriate for the new client proposition, which is focused entirely around life planning,’ she said. ‘We help people stop worrying about money.’

Weeks is due to complete her life planning training with the Kinder Institute at the end of this month but has been using life planning techniques with clients since last July. She is due to launch the Serenity brand this week and will begin introducing it to clients through seminars soon after.

‘We will get a few clients together and explain what we are doing,’ said Weeks, who works with her husband Darren Weeks. ‘We have done networking meetings before but they have been informal.’

Weeks hopes the Serenity website will be more than just a online brochure. Fellow financial planner Jaime Steele of North Financial Management built the site but rebranding had been a time consuming process for the firm, she said. ‘It has taken months rather than weeks.’

The six-year-old Financial Weeks name will be kept and used for a new consultancy business that will work with other financial advisers. The firm acquired 100 clients earlier this month from another Hertfordshire financial adviser, and Weeks said they would be dealt with on an transactional basis. She hopes the acquired firm’s links with an accountancy practice will deliver a stream of new financial planning clients.

Congratulations Tina - and a great job on the website.

Very much looking forward to your forthcoming workshops on how to introduce Financial Life Planning into an IFA business.

Great Stuff Tina,

The website is very good, it ticks all the boxes as far as I am concerned.
