Nev heard of Jonathan Taylor ~ if part of his brief was to keep the FSA in check and hold it to account for its multitude of failings and fudge-ups he didn't do much of a job, did he?
And how does the post of DG of FS sit alongside CE of the FCA? Is Martin Wheatley subordinate to Charles Roxburgh or his equal or his senior or what? Will the two of them interact in any way?

All you need to know is that they will be paid well and for this they will be able to explain why the gate was OPEN before the horses bolted

McKinsey old boys act like a freemasonry without the charitable intent. Choosing one of them as DG Financial Services does not fill me with confidence in the selection process.

Sorry to double-post but look at page 5 of the 8 on this site and ask yourself how many of these have you seen/heard commenting on Cru or any other problems recently.
