Truestone seeks boost for social investments
by Rachael Revesz on Feb 27, 2013 at 10:17
London-based financial planning and fund management firm Truestone Asset Management is hoping a link with lawyers will boost its social impact investment projects.
Truestone has struck a joint venture with solicitors Wellers Law Group, forming new company Truestone Wellers, which will house Wellers’ three advisers from its financial services arm.
Truestone chairman Paul Szkiler (pictured) said the legal expertise from the move would help the firm ‘scale up’ social impact investing projects, such as a venture in Sierra Leone.
He said he aimed to grow Truestone’s £5 million Global Impact fund to around £25 million.
