by Robert St George on May 29, 2014 at 12:48
Andrew Hall, a hedge fund veteran, has been promoted to co-manager of the £163 million Invesco Perpetual Global Opportunities fund.
Hall will work alongside lead manager Stephen Anness on the fund, which over the past three years has returned 42.8% compared with an average of 18.7% from its IMA Global sector.
‘He brings a consistent level of analytical rigour and active idea generation and also provides good support to Stephen, helping the team to build conviction in its investments,’ commented Nick Mustoe (pictured), chief investment officer at Invesco Perpetual.
Before joining Invesco Perpetual, Hall was a partner at Bramshott Capital, a spin-off from Moore Europe Capital Management. He had worked at Moore since May 2009 before leaving for Bramshott, the hedge fund established by former Moore and Threadneedle head of UK high alpha Paul Findley.
